Talks: Five speakers (Arthur Miller, Ahna Skop, Victoria Vesna, Michael John Gorman, Mauro Martino, 15 min each). They will address: the value of the Art-Science culture (Miller); How does Art benefit Science (Skop); how does Science benefit Art (Vesna); Art-Science institutes in Europe and their successes and challenges (Gorman); and Art-Science in Industry (Martino).
break into three groups with artists and scientists intermingled to address an unsolved problem bringing openness and teachability with no experts.

1. Is an Art-Science Institute of value? How does this benefit society and the planet?
2. If so, how? What are two core elements that need to be built into institution’s foundation?
3. How could it be actuated? How to achieve the core goals in the structure and practice of the institute?
4. How could it be sustained? What would be the best structure? Freestanding, university-associated, partnered with industry?
